Church News:
(1) The November Prayer Meeting, scheduled for 11/1, is being rescheduled to the following Saturday 11/8. This is due to timing conflicts with the fall GCLI in Rock Falls on the 1st.
(2) This Sunday (10/26), there is a meeting for the fathers of the teens in the church to discuss organizing a father-led high school ministry. If are a father who has teenagers in or soon to be in high school, meet with Chris Biang after the sunday service.
(3) It is not too late to register for the fall GCLI on Sat. 11/1. You've missed the online registration date, but there are still a few spots available. Talk to Paula to sign up. There will be a $5 registration fee which includes room costs, lunch buffet, and coffee. The topic is on education choices for our children and the effect they will have on raising up godly, world-focused believers. Even if you don't have children or are already empty nesters, you will still be able to glean important spiritual principles from this conference.
(4) Glen Arbor will once again be participating in the Samaritan's Purse shoe box gift program. If you are interested in helping put together a gift box for underprivileged children, contact Robin Klapatch for details. Shoe box collection will be taking place Sun Nov. 9 and Nov. 16. Also, Wed Nov. 19, Awana leaders and children will be working together to make as many gift boxes as possible.
(5) The Church is looking for several nice couches to be donated for the parlor in order to help make it a more usable space. Also, if anyone is interested in donating to help install new carpet in that room, please contact Chris Biang
(6) This Sunday, the church Lost and Found will be set up in the overflow room. It will only be there for this one day so be sure to look through it and pick out any items that are yours.

Praise Report: Ernie Coxie is home! He is back in his own house along with a full time care giver. He is able to use a walker to get around, but needs help in order to sit and rise. Please continue to pray that Ernie and his caregiver will be able to settle into a routine and that he will grow in strengh.
Prayer Request: Please pray for Greg Ochab as he is starting a new round of Chemotherapy to battle his cancer.
Prayer Request: Amy Delabre and Ken Delabre are both in need of reliable transportation. Please pray that God would bless them both with vehicles soon.
