Church News
This Weekend is West Chicago Railroad Days. Glen Arbor will be participating in this town celebrations by hosting a float for the parade on Sunday. We are expecting everyone to come out and march in the parade after a short service Sunday morning. The Parade starts at noon, so bring a sack lunch and bottled water, and be ready to head over early and represent our Lord to the community. We will be handing out invitations and candy. Pray that God would bless this effort and that we would see fruit from it
Many members of Glen Arbor are still active in going out into the community with FAN club. Every Saturday morning and most Wednesday nights the church gets together to go out. This is a great way to meet people in the area and start spiritual conversations with it. Everyone who has gone agrees that this is a very encouraging time. If you haven't fit FAN Club into your schedule, then see if you can juggle you time to come and join with us. And don't forget that you can do this with your own neighbors, co-workers, and family.
July 25-26 (Fri & Sat) Glen Arbor is hosting a 24 hour prayer meeting to pray for those who have given prayer request through FAN Club. It will be starting on Friday at 6:00 pm and finish the next day at the same time. Keep these dates open. More details will be posted as they become available.

(local project leaders), as well as the translators working with us.
-For unity on our project team of 100 (including Glen Arbor and 7 other

-That we would be a blessing to the 3 churches we are serving (a mother
church and two daughter church plants).
-For personal growth of each team member (that God would accomplish His
work in us), and that our team would come back changed as a result.
-For effective ministry (that God would accomplish His work through
us): VBS, Sports Evangelism, Door to door outreach, construction

-Overall, that God would be glorified!

The camping group will be meeting at Blackwell Forest Preserve youth camping sites #9 & #10. There will be a campfire and snacks to share, so show up around anytime after 5:00pm on 6/27 to hang out and spend some time in the great outdoors. You don't have to spend the night, but there is plenty of room to bring a tent if you want to stay.

pan style="font-size: small; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">God must have wanted to teach the softball players humility this time. This week, both Glen Arbor teams went up against mighty opponents and were both vanquished in the pursuits. The BatterRupps were defeated 24-6 by the WCT Wizards, and the Lumberjacks lost 22-2 to the Boondocks. All participants are hopeful next week as the BatterRupps challenges the WCT Wizards to a no-holds-barred, winner-takes-all rematch at 9:00pm, and the Lumberjacks play the Pella Sliders at 8:00pm
