This summer Glen Arbor is hosting SALT 2008. SALT stands for Spiritual and Life Training. The last three SALT programs were held in downtown Chicago. This year we will be working with college age men and women in West Chicago. The purpose is give opportunity for Christian growth, fellowship, and learning about our faith. Glen Arbor hosted a softball team last year in the West Chicago Park District League. Quite a few years ago we took the championship in the Glen Ellyn league, last year we slipped to fourth place. We are expecting to field two teams this year, maybe we can move up our ranking! If you want to join contact Tom Biang.

Glen Arbor is praying for Friends in Neighbors in the West Chicago area. This Spring we are concentrating on the friends we already know. Later in spring and summer we will be visiting neighbors to see if we can receive their prayer requests. We will be praying regularly with a 24Hour day of prayer Friday through Saturday, July 25-26.
